About Me!

Hi, I'm Sowmya Chandra.

I am a user experience designer keen on learning and innovating positive digital experiences that empower people through their journey in the digital world.

Currently, I completed my Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana. I've always enjoyed expressing myself creatively, from illustrating to sculpting to animation, and one of the best experiences was to see an idea come to life after living as a simple thought in my head.

The challenges, small victories, and occasional slumps through this process helped me become adaptable, resourceful, and persistent as a designer.

Here are 5 fun facts about me!

• I consider myself a people person, as I love meeting new people and hearing their stories.
  
• I'm from a town called Meerut in India and live in Indianapolis currently. 
• Once a week I play an elf monk in a game called Dungeons and Dragons with friends.
• My goal in life is to help people through design and leave my digital footprint in the world.
• I used to be a dog person but now I'm a cat person too!
